I am a life traveler and lover of the earth.
I have been keeping a weblog of some sort for many years. “Mamadunce”, 
“Iridescent Spoke” and “Parkdale Doris” and then a political website during my term as a Member of Legislative Assembly here on Prince Edward Island for about 5 years.
Cynthiaking dot ca, is a return to the basics: periodic writing and posting photos about a variety of topics, interests and passions.
I love mountain biking, squash, skiing, making websites, ogling awesome gadgets and clever designs. I also love writing and performing comedy. I believe in nature.
I live on Prince Edward Island but am originally from Moncton, New Brunswick. I have two amazing grownup children, Ash and Ian, and one incredibly brilliant grandson, Finley. My significant other is Derek Lawther, a physics professor at UPEI and he has two great kids, Sam and Stu.
